Libation Cup

This is a blanc de Chine libation cup made in China in the 18th century or possibly a bit earlier . Libation cups were communal drinking vessels that were used on important ceremonial occasions. The piece is decorated with a prunus blossom relief decoration on the front and back and ahs a nice base. The quality of the porcelain is very nice and white. The cup is in perfect condition with some minor manufacturing flaws - tiny black spots but not many. These are normal on early porcelain! The cup is 1.75 inches tall, just under 2.625 inches wide and just under 2.25 inches deep. It is unmarked which is the norm! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
