Chinese Export Lid

This is a lonely lid made in China in the late 18th century. Not the greatest piece ever but we all know that a missing lid that is found for a certain piece gives us all a lot of joy. So maybe here is the one for you :) The piece is hand painted with a flower and leaf garland design along the edge with a fine gold line to the outside and a nice finial with its leaves. It is a little bit mis shapen on one side and has a cchip in that spot as well as shown. Another tiny chip on the opposite side from when it was made which is gilded over. A bit of wear to the gilding but it will still do the job perfectly if it is the lid for you! The piece is 2 inches in diameter with the outer diameter of the underside ring being 1.375 inches at the widest point tapering inwards a bit on the lower end. It is unmarked which is the norm! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $39
