Chinese Export Portrait Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made in China in the late 18th century. Both pieces are nicely handpainted with the saucer having a lady and a gentleman in the center with the lady holding a flower. There are four portraits of a genetleman on the rim surrounded by a nice design including flowers and a shell type design. Nice red and gold trim. The cup has the same portrait on the front and two shrub scenes on a rock on the sides. Same gold and red trim and a nice handle shape. The cup and saucer are in great condition with some wear to the gilding. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.625 inches. Both pieces are unmarked which is the norm! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
