Armorial Charger

This is a large plate / charger / serving dish made in China in the 18th century. The piece is hand painted with an Armorial at the top including two native people around a center piece of three heads on spears (might just be the way they drew the bodies) with a crown on top. A bit of a gruesome coat of arms. The center of the plate has a nice floral arrangement held together by a golden band tied into a bow and the edge of the well and rim having a gold and red leaf and berry garland trim. A nice looking piece and unlike any I ahve come across plus the large size makes it a rare survivor. Really a nice looking piece! The plate is in decent condition with a chip to the edge as well as four tiny chips, wear to the gold trim and the figure on the right side of the armorial, a spider glaze crack to the front on the left side of the armorial (it does not go through the other side) and a spider crack on the underside of the center of the plate of which one line goes through the plate and shows up on the left side of the flower bunch as shown. Still a really nice piece that displays well. The piece is not marked underneath which is normal. It is 1.5 inches tall and 12.75 inches in diameter.
