Floral Plate #2

This is a nice plate made by Chelsea around 1755. It is made of soft paste porcelain and that combination with their amazing polychrome enamels is just stunning. The piece is hand painted with a large floral arrangement to one sides with the rest of the plate filled in with fours larger and three smaller flowers. Nicely shaped edge with their typical brown trim to it. The plate is in good condition with some small chips along the very edge painted in to hide them perfectly. Only one is slightl larger and is visible when on display but does not take away from the piece. All chips are shown. A bit of stacking wear to the large arrangement and more visibly to the flower opposite of it as shown. Chelsea porcelain is hard to find for sure! The piece is marked with the tiny red anchor underneath as shown and it has the three typical spur marks on the back from firing and the moons when you shine a light through it. It is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 8.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
