Bug Decorated Dish

This is a silver shaped dish made by Chelsea around 1755. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with some nice bugs with their shades after Klinger at Meissen including butterflies, a lady bug and a caterpillar as well as some leaves to hide flaws, shell shaped handles and a nice reddish brown trim along the edges. The piece is in good condition with some firing issues in the shape of tiny black firing spots, some staining in places, a line to the underside footring, a bit of wear to the brown trim and a shallow chip by one of the sets of leaves as shown that was reglued back in and painted over a bit. It displays nicely! The piece is marked with the tiny red anchor underneath as shown and it has the typical spur marks on the back from firing and the moons when you shine a light through it. The dish is 1.375 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
