Capodimonte Soap Bubbles Scene Stand

This is a superb platter on a stand made by Capodimonte in about 1755. It is made of softpaste porcelain and the scene is handpainted with enamels. I don't think I have ever seen a more fun scene on porcelain this one being of three putti playing with soap bubbles with a dog watching on the side. In the background there is a building and in the foreground there is a small pond. The rim has a relief design to it with the leaves painted in green tones and red berries. Capodimonte porcelain is supremely rare and really very very nice and to have such a fun scene is just amazing I think. The piece is 2.375 inches tall and has a diameter of 11 inches with the bottom of the foot having a diameter of 3.75 inches. Underneath the foot it is marked with the blue fleur de lis mark of Capo di Monte which is not something you see often at all! The piece is in perfect display condition but it had some to damage to the top that didn't affect the scene which was absolutely perfectly and invisibly restored. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
