Ceramic Terrier Figurine #2

This is a ceramic dog figurine made in Austria in the early 20th century. Either by the Wiener Kunstkeramische Werkstätten or Goldscheider but even though this is the second one I now own I have not found out who made them. The dog reminds me a lot of Niki from the Nymphenburg porcelain factory designed by Willy Zügel . He is definitely a terrier and I think it is a Foxterrier but I stink with dog breeds so I might be wrong. The figure is superbly modeled and hand painted perfectly. It is of a nice size as well. The figurine is marked on the bottom with some numbers that are hard to see 19 and possibly 70 and a black 8 but nothing that is of much help sadly. No factory mark so it was either missed which did happen from time to time or has worn off or something else. I lean towards worn of which means it was more likely made by Goldscheider since they had a printed mark. Either way a really nice figure! The dog is 9.375 inches tall, 5.125 inches wide and 8.5 inches long which is a great size. The piece is in perfect condition which is always a plus. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $599
