Fun Ceramic Dish

This is a funky dish made of some sort of ceramic / pottery in Austria. I know absolutely nothing about it - I bought it because it was supposed to be hand painted but in fact the flowers are an unusually nice transfer print both in terms of detail and color. Very reminiscent of 18th century porcelain which is why I was intrigued. Alas no one painted it afterall :( Still a really nice dish with one side having this dragon wing like design to it painted in turquoise and gold and the other the nice floral arrangement and two single flowers. Branch handle with three leaves to one end. The dish sits on three feet. The serving dish is in great condition with a bit of wear to the gold trim on the edge. It is marked underneath Austria in a spot not covered by the white glaze and there is another circular spot that has a mark to it and some blue writing in a semi circle but neither is clear enough to figure out. The piece is 10.25 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall so a very nice size. A very unusual and interesting dish! Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $129
