Young Boy w/ Goat Figurine

This is a figurine of a baby goat with a young boy (a kid with a kid :) made by Augarten during the mid 20th century. A fun piece that is nicely modeled with lots of detail and hand painted to perfection. The goat is standing on its hind legs with the front legs in the air above the baby's belly while the young boy is on the ground with his legs in the air just having a good time. Looks like they are best friends. Nice base with grasses and flowers on it and a gold trim around the edge. The figure is 3.875 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.625 inches. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Augarten Wien Austria in red, an impressed letter E, impressed model number 1618 and a gold number 28.
