Original Art Deco Wally Wieselthier Figurine

This is a rare and superb figurine in the Art Deco style designed by Vally Wieselthier and made by Augarten during the original period in about 1924. It is of a lady with a monkey and I do believe it is supposed to represent vanity or something along those lines. An amazingly modeled piece and handpainted to perfection. The figure is in great condition with just the very tip of the yellow top of the hat chipped and the two middle fingers of the lower hand are chipped a bit though theither is obvious when on display at all. The piece is 9.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath as well as Augarten Austria in a red rectangle and the impressed numbers 1517 as well as a blue 18 for the painter's mark. Please email me for more information or photos.
