Small Original Borzoi Figurine

This is a figurine of a Russian Wolf hound aka Borzoi dog made by Augarten in the early 20th century during the original period when he was first designed. A very well modeled figure that is hand painted perfectly. He is 2.375 inches tall, 4.5 inches long and 2.25 inches wide. The dog is in perfect condition. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed number 1713/ I - the I is a size reference meaning he is the smallest version of three as well as Augarten Austria in a red rectangle a sign he is from the original period.
