Sitting Dog

This is a figurine of a dog made by Augarten around 1930 during the original period. I think he is some kind of pointer but I am no expert on dogs at all. He is sitting on an oval base with a gold trim around the edge and is 2.75 inches tall, 1.25 inches wide and 1.875 inches deep. The little dog is in great condition with a few minor scratches on his back in the brown area. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed number 1529, as well as Augarten Austria in a red rectangle.
