Sake or Liquor Set

This is a rare Sake or liquor set made by Augarten during their beginning year of the early 20th century. It comes with a nicely shaped pot with a lid, eight little cups / shot glasses and a tray to hold them all. I have not seen a set like this from them and it really is superb! The lid of the pot is held in place by a cork that looks to have been either reglued or replaced. The set has a simple but very elegant design of green leaves and golden flowers as well as a simple gold trim. It looks great! The entire set is in great condition except for the already mentioned cork and one of the cups has a hairline to it as shown. No other issues at all. The cups are 1.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches in diameter at the top. The pot with its lid is about 6 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The tray is 0.75 inches tall and 11.275 inches in diameter. All pieces are marked with the under glaze blue shield mark with the crown on top and Wien underneath except for one cup and they all have the red rectangle with Augarten Austria in it underneath. Some green numbers and a green painter's mark 70 under the pot as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.
