Rosenkavalier Figurine

This is a nice figurine of a gentleman made by Augarten in the 20th century. The figure is nicely modeled with him holding a rose in one hand and the other hand on his sword. The figurine is called Rosenkavalier in German which would translate to The Knight of the Rose and is based on an opera from around 100 years ago. Not a rare figurine but this version with the elborate trim to the coat is much less common than any other version! Nicely hand painted. In superb condition with maybe the tiniest of nibbble to the rose petals but I cannot see any. He displays perfectly! The figurine is 7.75 inches tall with the base having a diameter of 2.625 inches. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed Made in Austria and the letter S, Augarten Wien Austria in red, painter's number 203 in black and the model number 1500 I believe though it is hard to read. Please email me for more information or photos.
