Original Period Hunter Figurine

This is a rare and superb figurine of a hunter which I think was designed by Michael Powolny and was made by Augarten during the original period in the 1920's. The hunter is dressed up iwht a large hat, a nice jacket and short pants and is holding his rifle by his side. His one foot is standing on a tree stump while he is leaning on some branches of a tree behind him. The piece is really fun and extremely well modeled and painted. A hard to find model especially from the original period. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is 6.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Augarten Austria in a red rectangle and the impressed model number which I cannot quite make out as well as the painter's number 69 in green. There is also what looks like an impressed % sign underneath. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $1749
