Powolny Blanc de Chine Putto Figurine

This is a nice figurine designed by the famous Michael Powolny for Augarten in the 1920's. This one here is a bit later than the original period but just as nice. The figure is of a semi nude putto wearing a jacket and a hat with a flower on top standing on a nice base with some wheat by his feet and a water pot next to him. Nicely modeled and left in the white to show off all that detail without covering it up with paint. A superb model especially in perfect condition which is the case here. The figure is 4.625 inches tall, 2.375 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed 1514 and Made in Austria and the letter W and Made in Austria impressed. Please email me for more information or photos.
