Polychrome Cockatoo Figurine #2

This is a neat Art Deco cockatoo bird figurine made by Augarten during the mid 20th century. The figure is superbly modeled (originally by the famous Mathilde Jaksch ) in a very typical pose for this sort of bird and hand painted with just enough color to make it a very elegant piece. The colors are stronger than on the other version I own. The figurine looks great! It is 4.5 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The piece is in perfect condition! It is marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Made in Austria in red, a painter's number 30 and the model number 1599.
