Original Salami Merchant Figurine #2

This is a figurine of a gentleman street vendor based on the original Cris de Paris series from the 18th century Vienna model made by Augarten in the early 20th century during the original period. He is a salami seller and is holding a basket on his left arm filled with salamis. Nicely dressed and leaning against a tree stump on a typical Vienna base with some nice gilding on the edge. A very well modeled figure with lots of superb hand painted detail all around. The figure is in perfect condition which is always a bonus. He is 7.875 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 3.125 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Augarten Austria in a red rectangle as well as the usual impressed marks including the model number 1011 as shown. Painter's number 18. in green. There are two cut marks underneath the Wien name denoting it being a second choice piece possibly due to a tiny faint stray black line mark near his butt on the white apron. Displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or photos.
