Original Period Desert Fox Figurine

This is a rare figurine of a desert or Fennec fox made by Augarten during the original period it was designed in by Karin Jahrl around 1926. This to me was always the holy grail of porcelain figurines made by Augarten! My personal favorite and while I have seen them from later periods this is a rare original period piece. That made my day and then some :) This figurine is a very popular model due to its cuteness factor :) Well modeled, too and painted just enough to make it as elegant as can be. He is 5.875 inches tall, 4.125 inches wide and 6.25 inches long. The figure is in perfect condition. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, an impressed number that is hard to see maybe 1588, Augarten Austria in a red rectangle and an impressed letter as well as a painter's mark 18 in black as shown.
