Map Seller

This is is a porcelain figurine made by Augarten in the beginning of the 20th century. It is one of the Paris artisans of the Cris de Paris series Royal Vienna made in the 18th century (copied from Meissen originals). This is the mapseller of the series. The map is of the northern part of Germany. A very well modelled figurine and it is in great condition. One finger (thumb) is broken.  The figure is 7 inches tall and is marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield mark with the word Wien underneath. Also the words Augarten over Austria in a red rectangle and the black number 12 and impressed S. Please email me for more information or photos.
