Large Gentleman w/ Dog Figurine

This is a really nice and large figurine of a gentleman walking his dog made by Augarten during the original in the early 20th century. It is superbly modeled in the Art Deco style of the period with him holding the large dog by his collar. Looks like a great Dane type of dog. The base has a nice relief design to the top of the base that is hard to show in the pictures. He has a quiver by his side with two arrows in it. Originally this figurine would be Hubertus and his dog with the counter piece being Diana and a doe. He would have come with a separate crossbow which is almost always missing. Not sure it always came with it or if it was an optional piece. It does not need it and I am not sure how it would be attached as there is no obvious hole or attachment point. The figurine is in perfect condition. The figure isabout 15 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 11.125 inches long. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath and Augarten Austria in a red rectangle which got a bit messed up at some point. No model number, etc. but does have an impressed letter M as shown. Not an easy model to find at all and it is stunning! Please email me for more information or photos.
