Original Art Deco Nude Lady w/ Gazelle Figurine

This is a stunning and rare figurine of a nude African lady holding a gazelle which was designed by Robert Ullmann in 1931 and made by Augarten during this period. I have only seen this model once and it was in white but this is a truly stunning figure in color!! I would have to say the best piece I own by them and I own a few nice ones. The lady is painted superbly but the gazelle is amazing and perfect for the Art Deco period. The lady is holding and or petting the gazelle while kneeling on a nicely shaped base painted in a simple sand color. A superbly modeled and handpainted piece and it might be the only painted version known! The figure is in perfect condition which is another plus :) The piece is 6 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Augarten Austria in a red rectangle and the impressed number 1686. The top of the base has the modeler's name impressed as well as the year 1931. Please email me for more information or photos.
