Goat with Kid Figurine

This is a figurine of a baby goat with a young boy (a kid with a kid) made by Augarten during its original period in the early 20th century. A fun piece that is nicely modeled with lots of detail and handpainted to perfection. The goat is standing on its hind legs witht he front in the air above the baby's belly while the kid is on the ground with his legs in the air just having a good time. Nice base with grasses and flowers on it and a gold ring around the edge. The figure is 4 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 2.625 inches. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, an impressed letter I, impressed model number 1618 and a blue number 27.
