Green Floral Beer Mug

This is a really fun beer mug / tankard made by Augarten in 1987 in a limited edition for the 100 year anniversary of the Kirin beer company in Japan. The piece has a barrel shape to it with four gold rings over a relief ring meant to imitate the metal rings on a wooden keg. Each side has a large hand painted green floral arrangement to it with a smaller flower to the front. There is a handle on one side with a touch of gilding to it. All in all a really ncie cup to ahve your beer in :) It comes with some of the original paperwork though most is in Japanese. The tankard is marked underneath with the under glaze blue shield / beehive mark with Wien under it, Augarten Wien Austria in red next to it as well as some other info in black as shown. A great piece! It is 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 inches in the center. It is in perfect condition! Please email me for more information or photos.
