Giant Borzoi

This is a Borzoi or Russian Wolfhound dog figurine made by Augarten in the mid 20th century. It is not common at all and much harder to find than the other two sizes they made of this model. The figurine is the largest version being 5.75 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 12 inches long. The dog is in perfect condition. Very well handpainted in an off white color with the raised areas a bit lighter. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed number 1713/III , Made in Austra impressed, a black number 203, impressed letter F as well as Augarten Wien Austria in a red.
