Lady w/ Flower Basket

This is a nice figurine of a lady holding a basket of flowers made by Augarten in the mid 20th century. The figure was made after an original Royal Vienna model of the 18th century. The figurine is nicely modeled and haind painted with lots of detail and nice colors and even has the old style gilding on the base that was a tell tale sign for Royal Vienna. Wish I had the 18th century original to stand them side by side but I am not that lucky. The piece is in great condition with a leaf of the flower in her hand broken off as well as one in the basket but it doesn't take away from the piece! She is 9 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 3.375 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, Augarten Wien Austria in red, impressed made in Austria as well as a letter Land a painter's mark 82 plus the model number 1008 painted over the shield mark as shown.A really nice figurine!
