Cute Fennec Fox Figurine

This is a super cute figurine of a desert or Fennec fox made by Augarten during the 20th century. It was originally designed in by Karin Jahrl around 1926. This to me was always the holy grail of porcelain figurines made by Augarten! My personal favorite for sure! This figurine is a very popular model due to its cuteness factor :) Well modeled, too and hand painted just enough to make it as elegant as can be. The figure is 6 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 6.5 inches long. The figure is in perfect condition. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed Made in Austria as well as a painter's mark 223 in black as shown. Also impressed the letter G and the model number though it is hard to see possibly 1584 or 1586. A piece that always makes you smile when you look at it!
