Cute Bird Figurine

This is a really cute bird figurine made by Augarten around 1954. Not a figure I ahve come across before nor could I find another one. Not sure what kind of bird it is either - probably some sort of chickadee or titmouse. Either way a really fun piece to look at. The little bird is standing one a branch with its leaves and looking alertly at his surroundings. The figurine is in perfect condition! Very well modeled and hand painted to make it a very elegant piece. The figurine is 4.75 inches tall (at the tail end), 2.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed Made in Austria, the letter C, painter's mark 203 and under one of the leaf corners are the artist initials U R and the year 1954.
