Asian Kakiemon Saucer

This is a saucer either made in China or Japan - not sure which one it is at all. It was made in the late 18th century and is handpainted with a Kakiemon style design including a blue ground in th center and three cartouches of flowers surrounded by a nice turquoise, red and gold trim. Red and gold trim to the edge. The saucer is in great condition with no chips, etc. but there used to be a gold design over the blue ground that is now completely gone and can only be seen when held at the right angle to a strong light source. Little bit of wear to the gold trim around the cartouches but it displays very well and is quite interesting. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is unmarked which is the norm but it certainly is either Japanese or Chinese ! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
