Turn Teplitz Lady Bust

This is a superb bust of a lady made by Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel Amphora , Turn-Teplitz between 1899 and 1905. It was established in 1892 and after 1945 it seems to be gone. The bust is in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style and of a lady smelling a flower on her left shoulder. The base is made up of long leaves held together by a pink bow. The leaves cover her breasts and she seems to be coming out of them. The bust is superb and what this maker is all about. Superb colors and detail make this one very elegant piece! The figurine was designed by Ant. Nelson who signed the piece on the right side of the base! She is marked on the bottom inside with the RSTK mark with Turn-Teplitz Bohemia and Made in Austria. Also an impressed number 1016 and letter D. The bust is 14.25 inches tall, 8.75 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. She is in great condition with two or three tiny nibbles and one chip that was repaired underneath the pink bow and can only be seen when turned over. The leaf tips on her shoulder and one in the back might have been restored but I truly cannot tell it's just a hunch. Just an amazing bust! Please email me for more information or photos.
