Richard Ablott Plaque #2

This is a really nice scenic plaque painted by Richard Ablott and most likely made at Derby in the mid 19th century. The piece is superbly painted and of a nice size. The scene is of Loch Lubnaig, a small freshwater loch near Callander in the Scottish Highlands . The piece is of a very nice quality with the greenery in the front, the lake in the center and mountains all around. I especially like the way he painted the sky adn that tiny sailboat in the center. A nice them that is superbly executed! The plaque is in superb condition as shown with just a manufacturing flaw to the left side edge. There are a couple of spots where the colors have dulled from age but it displays perfectly. The back has the title written in red - Loch Lubnig (mispelled) Painted by R. Ablott. The plaque 8.25 inches wide and 6.375 inches tall so of a very ice size. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
