Creamware Female Gardener Figurine

This is a great creamware figurine of a female gardener made in the Staffordshire region around 1800. The figurine is really well modeled and nciely hand painted in the typical manner of this region. She is standing on some greenery on a square base, dressed nicely and wearing a hat while holding a sickle and a wheat sheaf. The figurine is about 7 inches tall with the base being about 2.5 inches on each side. The figure is in great condition with some minor imperfections but no real damage, restorations, chips, etc. Some crazing to the glaze not uncommon on their wares as shown. The figurine is unmarked which is normal. I own her male companion which is also on the site. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
